Don't compare yourself to someone else.
Romans 12:16 " Live in harmony, do not be snobbish, high minded, and give yourselves to humble tasks, Never over estimate yourselves" and again in the book ABANDONMENT TO DIVINE PROVIDENCE 'all we count as trivial and worthless is actually what can make us holy. Making comparisons between various states is meaningless, for holiness is not to be looked for in the number or kind of duties given us. But our ATTITUDE to all these things. And this attitude is simply to say 'I will' to all that God asks in this present moment (no matter how grand or how menial)

Two are better than one.
No, I am not talking about desserts. I am talking about ecclesiates 4:9 Two are better than one, because if one falls, the other can pick him up.
Even better, a threefold cord is not easily broken. When two people in a relationship can no longer agree, have hardened their heart, or been hurt so badly that they can not pick each other up. The threefold cord .....God is the third cord. When those two individuals cannot come together.

SuperBowl Stadium Football Cake
You can make this great superbowl cake....
Just use the Nordic Stadium Pan, available on Amazon.com.
You can use food coloring to make the people in the stadium. Use the colors of your two
opposing teams! We used colored fondant to make the field, and colored pipe cleaners for
the goal posts. We added stadium lights. You can purchase these mini lights from a craft store.
....or hobby shop!
You can put the cake on a stand to further add a parking lot and other fun accessories!
Flags are just cut out paper on wood skewers for the flag posts.
Have fun! GO TEAM!!!

Back to the way it was.........
TIGHT ON MONEY???
So have you ever gone to the store to buy something you really need?
You get home, only to find out, that way back in one of your cabinets, you already had the item that you just bought?
But that comes from disorganization and a lack of time. It also comes from having the convenience of a store to go buy what I want. Even though maybe I don't really have the money to spare. So....there's always credit!!
Right? .........with all the interest to pay as well.........
-But now, I am determined to get out of credit card debt.
-I am determined not to use the cards.
-In order to do this, I need to get back to frugal ways.
One of the ways is, when you are out of money and find you still need things..... be creative, look around..... improvise, utilize what you have.
I didn't have a pizza pan, so I looked around.....found an all metal pot lid, turned it upsidedown and cooked the pizza crust on it!
For the bread I even had homemade jelly to go with.....
(I planted a grapevine in our yard. This year it finally gave us alot of fruit. So I decided to make jelly). I am excited.
So, let's get cooking! Don't be afraid to improvise or learn a new skill!
And let's go eat some yumminess! : )

When tragedy strikes.........
I have come to see that when tragedy strikes...
The initial outpouring of concern from others is supportive and amazing.
After a brief period of knowing your tragedy and supporting you....interest wains.
As time goes on, you find that all interest in your circumstances by others has disappeared. Everyone assumes that you have survived the incident and you are well.
But there is a long time of recovery from any tragedy. Folks, don't forget about others in their pain. They may have survived the incident, but know that your ongoing support and concern is still very much appreciated.
Even after SURVIVAL, there is PAIN and HEALING necessary.
It may not seem like much, but any little thought of caring can go a
long way in someone's recovery. Don't assume that the individual has
recovered from the tragedy! It is a lifetime process. You have the ability to be someone's 'LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS'. You just don't know what your small act of kindness might do for them.

Up, Up, and Away!!!!!
The problem with superheros, is that eventually the people who love and depend on them discover that superheros are human......and it is a long and painful fall -for the loved ones to discover this, and for the superheros to endure their loved ones rejection, as they fall from the pedestal.........

Use unwanted items to make a Romantic Garden.
-go to this facebook page to see items that I have used in my garden. My garden has been described by
many as Romantic! I have been able to use items that are onhand rather than going to buy items for
the garden. This adds personality and originality to your garden. As a bonus you save alot of money on gardening necessities!
